Joseph C. Stella, Jr. GENEROUSITY BEYOND MEASURE Born April 11, 1926 on his family farm in Berlin, NJ As a young man, He worked hard with his father at Stella Farms, then married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy who predeceased him in 2007. They had three daughters, Joann, Diane and Lori. Mr. Stella became involved in local politics as a Winslow Township Committeeman in the 1960s. In 1972, he became president of the National Paving Co. in Berlin, running the company for over 20 years. His great loves were his wife of 63 years, his children and grandchildren, having lunch with his friends, spending time in Brigantine, Eagles Football, going out to dinner with his family and traveling. He will be forever remembered by his children, Joann Blas and her husband Ernest of Quinton, NJ, Diane Caromano and her husband Joseph, Sr. of Blue Anchor, NJ and Lori Stewart and her husband Gene of Blue Anchor, NJ. His Grandchildren, Robin Safaryn, Joseph Caromano, Jr., Brandi Jones, Michael Caromano, Brian Stewart and their spouse. His Great Grandchildren, Chase, Skylar, Julian, Jakob, Avery and Rachael, His brother, Edward Stella, nieces, nephew, all of his longtime friends and his beloved dog, Annabelle. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday morning, September 26th 10:00am to 12:00noon at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ (856)767-0539. Funeral services will begin at 12:00noon. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
