Obituary of Ronald F. Richardson

Ronald F. RichardsonOn November 23, 2008 of Galloway, NJ age 74yrs. Beloved husband of Karen R. (nee Fichter). He is survived by his children, Scott Gifford of Trenton, NJ and Kevin Gifford (Bill Gardner) of Atco, NJ. Mr. Richardson proudly served his country in the USNR from 1952 to 1955. In 1955 he was commissioned into active service by the US Navy to serve on the USS Gearing until 1957 and from 1957 until 1960 he continued in the USNR. He was a life member of the Haddon Fire Co. #1 with over 30 yrs. of dedicated service. Mr. Richardson became a Paramedic in 1980. In 1981 be became the Assistant Supervisor with the Paramedic Unit at West Jersey Hospital. In 1982 he was instrumental with starting Medic 6 out of Atlantic County Medical Center. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday from 10:00am to 12:30pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ (856)767-0539. Services will begin at 12:30pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Humane Society of Atlantic Co., 1801 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ 08401 would be greatly appreciated.
