Obituary of Irene Kovalek

Irene Kovalek(nee Oshinski) Beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on January 29, 2009 at home with her family. Irene was born on April 10, 1917. She resided in Nanticoke, PA for most of her life until she relocated approximately 6 yrs. ago to Maple Shade, NJ. She was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Nanticoke, PA. Surviving are her sisters, Josephine Walters of Nanticoke, PA and Louise Blashak of Maple Shade, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. According to her wishes a Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on April 18, 2009 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. John's Luthern Church, 231 State St., Nanitcoke, PA 18634 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
