Obituary of Robert B. Masneri

Robert B. MasneriOn February 23, 2009 of Hammonton, NJ, age 90yrs. Beloved husband of Thelma C. (nee Panati). Dear father of Russell B. Masneri of Gloucester City, NJ. Bob was a graduate of Geneva College, where he was recently named one of the Top 100 College Football Players of the Last 100 Years. He proudly served his country as a highly decorated Bomber Pilot in the US Air Force during World War II. Despite being shot down and taken prisoner during his first enlistment, he bravely answered his call to duty to serve during the Korean War as well. His experiences led him to become active in many Prisoner of War activities. A devoted husband and father, Bob was always ready with a joke or kind word and regularly donated to many charities. He will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, 11:00am to 12:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856)767-0539. Services will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will be private.
