Allan F. Finlayson, Sr. On February 26, 2009 of Voorhees, NJ age 68yrs. Beloved husband of 44yrs to Susan L Reed Finlayson. Loving father of Lori B. Finlayson Riess and William F. Riess, Jr. of Berlin and the late Allan F. Finlayson, Jr. Proud grandfather of William F. Riess, III and Amanda Leigh Riess. Dear nephew and Godson of J. Raymond Finlayson of FL. He is also survived by his sisters in law, Christine Reed and Ruth Reed along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Gladys Finlayson and Harold and Bertha Reed and his brothers in law, Earl R Reed and Harold F. Reed. Allan was a lifetime member of the Voorhees Vol. Fire Company, Station 664 and a Past Master of Williamstown Lodge #166 F&AM. He was also a lifetime member of the Gibbsboro American Legion Post #371, a lifetime member of the Kirkwood VFW Post #10116, a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of Centenary U.M. Church. Allan attended Central HS in Phila, PA and honorably served in the US Air Force for 5 yrs. He was an avid fisherman, reader and enjoyed Nascar racing (#24). Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday evening 7:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Wednesday morning 11:00am to 12:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ (856) 767-0539. Services will begin at 12:00pm. Interment, Cedar Grove Cemetery, Gibbsboro, NJ.
