Obituary of John F Wittwer
John Frank Wittwer, 70, of Atco died Friday, November 29, 2013.
He was born to the late Lawrence and Elizabeth Wittwer, June 9, 1943. John graduated from Haddonfield High School in 1962 and served in the United States Army from 1962-1965. He worked for Cigna as a computer engineer for more than 30 years before retiring in 2003.
John was a Philadelphia sports fanatic. His father also passed down a love for the Boston Red Sox, a love which he was proud to pass down as well. He enjoyed visiting different baseball stadiums; Fenway Park being one of his favorite places in the world.
John is survived by his sons and their wives: Kevin and Cristin Wittwer of Murfreesboro, TN and Jeffrey Wittwer and Jamie Wittwer of Turnersville, NJ; two siblings and their spouses: Elizabeth “Lee” and Wayne Croce, and Glenn and Elizabeth “Liz” Wittwer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and by two grandchildren: Eli Wittwer and an unborn granddaughter.
