Obituary of Laura M Hovermale

Laura Hovermale (nee Mullin), known to most as "Meem," 78, formerly of Hammonton, died peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Laura resided in West Palm Beach, Florida since 1996. She started her career at Deer Park Baking, then worked at Presswell Records in Ancora for close to 20 years. She was also a supervisor at Flight Apparel Clothing in Hammonton. Later in life, she became a caregiver to many children of family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Clark Sr, and survived by her children, Linda (John) Caporale, Robin (Todd) Zane, and Donna (Rob Sr.) Kates, all of Hammonton, Clark Jr (Denise) Hovermale of Waterford. Also survived by her grandchildren, Clark III, Nicole, Jaclyn, Lindsay, Ryan, Jennifer, John, Rachel, Robbie, and Andrew, and 7 ½ great-grandchildren, her sisters Patsy Martin and Midge Lenahan, and her brothers Edgar and Raymond Mullin, and longtime best friend, Frances Pinto. At the family's request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
