Obituary of Joan A. Sarappa

Joan (nee Kirk) of Waterford, NJ passed away peacefully on April 3, 2014. She was a wonderful cook, expert shopper, and lover of the shore who was deeply devoted to her family, friends, and Catholic faith. Macy’s, Boscov’s and Kohl’s will miss her dearly. Beloved wife of John Sarappa, Sr. Loving mother of John, Jr. (Maria) Sarappa, James Sarappa, and Danielle (Don) Freda. Cherished grandmother of Mia and Nina Freda. Sister of Marie Johnston and dear aunt to her nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Saturday, April 12 at Christ the Redeemer Parish/St. Anthony’s Church, 436 Pennington Ave., Waterford, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00PM. At the request of the family, no flowers please.
