Lucy I DeSilvio (nee Laginestra) age 90yrs Of West Berlin, NJ was called home to her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on May 12, 2014. Mrs. DeSilvio is pre deceased by her husband, former Police Chief of Berlin Twp., NJ Anthony DeSilvio, Jr. her children, Rita Monacello and Tony DeSilvio. She is survived by her daughters, Lucille Giannini of Sicklerville, NJ and Phyllis Shendock and her husband John of Atco, NJ along with 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and her siblings, Marion Consalvi, Phyllis Jeffries and Michael Laginestra. Mrs. DeSilvio worked many years in the Restaurant industry as a Hostess for Mama Venturas Restaurant and the Cherry Hill Inn and in later years, a Caregiver.. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Solid Rock Baptist Church, 420 S. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am with Pastor Charles Clark officiating. Interment will be private.
