Obituary of Chelsea Lauren Wood

Chelsea L. Wood, 22, of Berlin, passed away on July 22, 2014. Chelsea was born to Pamela and Kevin Wood on February 4, 1992. She was the second of two children. Her birth took place at Kennedy Hospital in Sewell, NJ. Chelsea was ill most of her life .She had tremendous love and care from her mother and sister, Tara, who did everything in their power to accomplish the goal of her having as a peaceful and enjoyable life as possible. She attended Winslow Township Schools and graduated from Saint John of God Community Services in 2013, where she attended several proms. Chelsea loved to socialize and participate in conversation with friends at school. Chelsea very much enjoyed riding the school bus. Even when she was physically unable to, Chelsea loved watching other children play and carrying her candy bag. Chelsea loved all types of music and took great pleasure in watching all the people come and go in the malls. One of Chelsea's favorite activities was being pushed in her stroller, around the mall, by her mommy and sister. She loved foods with cheese and a good sauce. Chelsea will be exceptionally missed by her mommy Pamela, her sister Tara , her father Kevin, all of her aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family. Relatives and friend are invited to the visitation of Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 11AM to 12PM at the St. John of God Community Services, 1145 Delsea Drive, Westville, NJ 08093, where a memorial service will be held at 12PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donation be made to Hospitaller Brothers of St. John of God, Development Office, 1145 Delsea Drive, Westville, NJ 08093.
