Obituary of Patricia M Church

Patricia M. "Patsy" Church (nee Wolfe), 81, of West Berlin, NJ, passed away August 3, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Loving mother of Eugene (Robin), Stephen and Carole(Horan). Grandmother of Ryan, Daniel, Monica, Brandon, Jarett, Cayla, and Liam, and a Great-grandmother to Julian. Also survived by her brother Lawrence Wolfe (Christine) of Peoria, AZ and sister Dorothy Miller of Tampa, FL and Aileen Austin (her honorary sister) of Port Saint Lucie, FL in addition to many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Our mom was a fiercely independent woman who was selflessly devoted to her family and faith. She had a great sense of humor, and she lived for the Christmas Holidays with the excitement of a child. Mom worked for the FAA in the early 60's and while there, she earned her pilot's license which allowed her to fly small aircraft. She continued to work there until she retired to raise her family. Mom was known to help and comfort family whenever they were in need. Her kind and gentle nature left a lasting impression all everyone she met. Mom was a huge fan of Fifties Music…Especially Elvis Presley…and she was an energetic Arm-chair Goalie for the Philadelphia Flyers. Her coaching skills from her living room are legendary. It will be impossible to fill the void in our hearts now that she is gone, but we are left with many cherished and sometimes zany memories of Mom. A visitation is planned for Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 10 to 11 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike in Atco, where a memorial service will be held at 11AM. Interment will be private and at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
