Obituary of Thomas F. Redmond
Thomas "Tom" Francis Redmond Sr., a veteran of WWII, electrician, mechanic, a good & loving husband, father, grandfather, passed away on September 4, 2014 at he age of 90. Tom saw combat overseas in the ETO with the Eight Army Air Corps as a mechanic repairing damaged B-17 -G Heavy Bombers of the 730th Bomb Squadron, 452 Bomb Group stationed at Deopham Green, England & received the European African Middle Eastern Ribbon. Following his honorable discharge, he went to work for the Atlantic Refinery (ARCO) in Philadelphia and retired after 35 years of service. He married out late mother, Emma Ella Redmond, & is survived by his son, Tom F. Redmond, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Patricia Redmond; daughter, Gail Bott; son-in-law; Keith Bott & grandson, Evan Bott His greatest loves were chocolate and Entenmanns Danish Twist. Rest In Peace Mom & Dad. Thank you for everything! We love & miss you!! The Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home has been placed in charge of the funeral arrangements & a private service will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church in W.
