Obituary of Francis X Pecikonis, Jr.

Francis X Pecikonis, Jr., Age 40 of Mays Landing passed away at home on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Born November 13,1973, to his father, Francis X Pecikonis, Sr. and his late mother, Deborah Pecikonis (Bilotti). Francis attended Blessed Sacrament Elementary School and graduated from Holy Spirit High School in 1991. As a young man Francis was involved and active in the Boy Scout Program. Francis played football for the Ventnor Pirates and The Holy Spirit Spartans throughout high school. He played the saxophone and took part in the Mummers organization with The South Philadelphia String Band. He worked at the Trop World, Resorts and Showboat Hotel and Casinos in Atlantic City as a slot attendant. He was a licensed and certified real estate agent in the state of New Jersey and worked with The Fantasy Resort Flagship Development Corporation and served as senior sales executive. Francis' outlet and passion was boating and fishing. He was an expert angler who won many fishing contests and tournaments throughout his life. He is survived by his father, Francis X Pecikonis, Sr; sister Paula Paretti and husband Jeffrey Paretti; sister, Samantha Pecikonis; brother Damian Pecikonis and wife Allison Pecikonis; nephew, Anthony Pecikonis; nieces, Tevya and Tiffany Paretti, and grandparents, aunts, uncles and many beloved friends. Friends may call between 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco NJ 08004. A service will follow starting at 7:00 p.m. promptly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to LeRoy P. Wooster's Funeral Home & Crematory.
