Obituary of Alice Buchwald

Alice Buchwald, 66, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2014. Born in Camden, she lived at St. Mary's Village in Cherry Hill, N.J. and was a long time participant in the Archway Supportive Living Program. Over the years, Alice was a volunteer at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford and a Special Olympic athlete. She was a talented artist who enjoyed making gifts for her family and friends. She will be especially remembered for her gentle spirit and kind/warm heart. Survivors include her sister, Irene and her husband Ralph De Leon of Mt. Laurel, N.J.; her brother, Rudy and his wife Marge Buchwald of Venice, Fl.; and niece, Gayle and her husband Anthony Morelli and family, Anthony, Henry and Clare of Marlton, N.J. She is also survived by her beloved parakeet, Billy Jean. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd in Marlton, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.
