Obituary of Elaine J. Hamlin

Elaine Joyce (Magowan) Hamlin (Mickie), age 69, passed peacefully in Moorestown, New Jersey on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Born in Camden, NJ, she lived in Tabernacle, NJ, graduated from Sterling High School and worked at Urology Health Care Associates of Moorestown. Elaine attended college in Philadelphia for art and filled our lives with her artistic talents in horticulture, photography, entertaining and culinary arts. Her passions were travel, animals and family. Her love of classical music rang through in her beautiful voice and will forever fill our hearts and memories of the inspirational life that she led. Survivors include her husband Willard Roger Hamlin, sons and daughter-in-laws, Steven Michael (Mary) Hamlin and Matthew D. (Vicki) Hamlin; brother, Paul N. Magowan; her beloved Schnauzer, Doc, and many life-long friends. Elaine was preceded by Ruth E. (Blourne) Magowan (mother), Harold N. Magowan (father) and Wayne L. Magowan (brother). Elaine was an active supporter of the American Cancer and Animal Societies. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory.
