Obituary of Marguerite J. Henry
Marguerite (Peggy) Henry (nee Haines) passed into eternal rest and peace on February 18, 2015 at The Fountains at Cedar Parke, Atco, NJ. Beloved wife of the late, Alvin W. Henry, Sr. for 60 years. Loving mother of Sandra Shourds (Fred) and Alvin Henry, Jr. both of Atco. Loved and missed by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was an avid gardener in her home in Maple Shade for 60 years and treasured her African Violet collection which could be found in every room throughout her house. She was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Berlin and a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Maple Shade. She was a caring and loving person throughout her life and was never seen without a smile and a hug for everyone she knew. She will be missed by all, but has found an even better place with Our Lord. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, February 21, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, at the Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 442 South Route 73, Berlin, NJ. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM. Internment will follow the service at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Peggy Henry to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Marlton, NJ 08053 or to one of the above churches.
