Obituary of Robert A States

Bob passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends at the age of 51 after a short but unknown battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Kelli (Camarote), his daughter Stephanie (Edward), his son JR, his grandchildren Riley and Damien. He is also survived by his sister Carol Estelow (Floyd) and his brothers John States (Jaye), Bill Perry (Judy) and Gary Perry, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Gladys States. Bob grew up in Palmyra NJ and spent his early years hanging out with the Maryland Ave. crew. Bob worked in the construction field for most of his life. He was an avid fisherman, boating enthusiast, who loved camping and the outdoors, and the ultimate Nascar fan. He worked pit security for Pocono Raceway for several years and was able to meet all of his favorite drivers. Bob could make friends with anyone and had many. Bob met his wife Kelli in 1981 and they were married in May of 1988. They have two wonderful children together, Stephanie Leigh (27) and Jonathan (JR) Robert (15) as well as two awesome grandchildren, Riley Elizabeth (5) and Damien Robert (3 months). Bob was a loving father who never missed a ballet recital or ball game or school concert. He was very proud of both of his children and his loss in their lives will be felt greatly. His viewing will be held at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco on May 1, 2015 from 12:00PM to 1:00 PM. Service to follow at 1:00PM. A potluck gathering to celebrate Bob's life will be held at the VFW on Rt. 561 in Gibbsboro immediately following the service. If you'd like to bring something, please drop it off at the VFW before the viewing.
