Obituary of John K. Richardson

John K. Richardson age 56yrs lifelong resident of Atco, NJ passed away suddenly on June 5, 2015. John is pre deceased by his parents, William and Betty Richardson and his brother, Tim. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, William Richardson (Kathleen) of Atco, NJ, Lindamarie Kelly (Kirk) of Greenville, SC, Robert Richardson of Franklinville, NJ and Janet Richardson of Atco, NJ. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, William (Amanda), Daniel (John's God son) Tad, Kristina and a great niece, Little Elizabeth. John recently retired from the Waterford Township Public Works Dept. after 37 dedicated years of service. He was an avid Phillies, Eagles and Flyers Fan and loved his Sunday afternoons watching NASCAR on TV. He also enjoyed woodworking. John was a "gentle giant" of a man who always protected his family and friends. He never judged people and was a loving and giving person who valued his friendships. A special thanks to Sister Sharon White, S.S.J for her guidance and prayers through our most difficult time. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the LEROY P. WOOSTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at the Atco Cemetery, Bartram Ave., Atco, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Waterford Township War Memorial, PO Box 635, Atco, NJ 08004.
