Obituary of Frank Cappetta

With deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Frank Cappetta on June 26, 2015. Frank was born in New York City and was the son of the late Louis and Angelina Cappetta. Frank married the love of his life, Kathleen (nee Cullen) in 1966. They had 48 wonderful years together. He is the loving father of June-Ann (Joseph) Garafano, Frank (Jennifer) Cappetta, and Patrice (Hank) Gardner and the cherished grandfather of Maureen Garafano, Sean Gardner, Isabella Garafano, Melissa (Thomas) Fox, and Stephanie Gardner. Frank is the dear brother of Susan (John) Paraggio, Rosemarie (John) Musella, and Joseph (Wally) Cappetta as well as many nieces and nephews. Frank honorably served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his service to his country, he began his career in the food industry, serving as Sales Manager for several food companies. In 1988, Frank founded Cappetta Associates Food Brokerage Co., fostering continued growth for the past 27 years. Frank dedicated his time to many organizations, including the Paramus Jaycees, the Young Republicans of Paramus, NJ, and the Knights of Columbus. Upon moving to Cherry Hill, he was the founding President of the Cherry Hill Chapter of OSIA (Sons of Italy). Frank was a devoted member of St. Thomas More RC Church, Cherry Hill, NJ, having served as a member of the Music Ministry, as well as a Eucharistic Minister. Frank will be greatly missed by his family and many good friends. All are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, July 1st from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM and again Thursday morning 8:15am to 9:15am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. (856)767-0539. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 2nd at 10 AM at St. Thomas More RC Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
