Obituary of Teresa Regina Milligan

Teresa R. Milligan (nee McCusker), 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, Teresa was a longtime resident of Juniata Park before moving to Leisure Towne in Southampton, NJ. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Teresa is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Joseph F. Milligan, and her infant grandson, Joseph Thomas Stoeckle. She is survived by her children; Teresa Stoeckle (Bob) of Mt.Laurel; Louise Miller (Ray) of Atco; and Joseph (Alicia) of Pembroke Pines, FL. Teresa's greatest joys in life were her grandchildren; Matthew and Timothy Stoeckle, Jeffrey (Meghan) and Steven Miller (Emily Borsetti), Christina Cummins (Mack) and Nicholas Milligan. The family would like to thank all of the health care professionals who lovingly cared for Teresa in recent years and during her final illness. They are also grateful to her wonderful neighbors whose help allowed her to stay in the home she loved and to family and friends for their prayers and support. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive in Atco, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
