Obituary of Stella D Hammerschlag

Stella D. Hammerschlag, 71, formally of Atco, NJ and Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2015 at Care One of Moorestown. Stella was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Richard. She is survived by her daughters, Christine and Cheryl, as well as her sister Mercy. A retired teacher, she worked for the Camden County Educational Services Commission from 1982-2004. She was a remedial teacher at St. Anthony of Padua (Camden), St. Joseph Elementary and High School (Hammonton), Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City) and Camden Catholic (Cherry Hill). Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Leroy Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike in Atco and again Monday, August 3, 2015 from 9:45 to 10:30 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Road in Marlton, where a memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.
