Obituary of Raymond M John

Raymond M. John, Sr. age 62yrs of W. Berlin, NJ passed away on August 10, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Ray is pre deceased by his parents, Raymond John and Josephine John. Ray is survived by his loving children, Raymond M. John, Jr. and his wife Kelly of W. Berlin, NJ and Brenda J. Martin and her husband Patrick of Hammonton, NJ. He is also survived by his sister, Lois Tighe and her husband Ted of Berlin, NJ along with his grandchildren, Emily John and Joseph John. Ray also leaves behind his loving companion Georgeanne Vellucci and her children and grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his beloved feline "Clyde" Ray was affectionately known as "Poppy" to his loving family. Ray was a dedicated long time member of the American Legion Post #371, Gibbsboro. He served as an Honor Guard for the Post. He was also a member of the Lions Tamers Club in Atco, the Alpha Gun Club in Atco and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. Ray loved his family and grandchildren. He cherished the time that he shared with them during their camping trips, his hunting and fishing excursions and time spent on his boat. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday, August 16, 2015 7:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Monday morning, 9:30am to 10:30am at the LEROY P. WOOSTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00am at St. Simon Stock Parish, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Campus, 178 W.
