So sad to hear of Aunt CeCe's passing. She was a super lady. I have loads of wonderful memories that I will always cherish. The family reunions and their trips to Fl. We all met up with your mom and dad after work at the Raintree Rest. in St. Augustine one time and had a wonderful evening. Your mom loved fresh Lobster!! I think that was her fovorite thing next to a good card game! She will be greatly missed. You all are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Your mom has indeed been reunited with her Buddy and so many of the family. God Bless and keep you all.

Thanks to both Aunt Cece and Uncle Buddy I have so many wonderful, happy memories that go back many, many years. The best times were had by all who have attended the annual Smith-Rahme family picnic. Aunt Cece has completed her time with us but she is now where she always wanted to be - with her beloved Buddy.

Aunt CeCe,
You’ve been a light in every room you’ve walked in. That light has shined on all of us that you’ve touched and your light will continue to shine bright with the legacy you’ve left all of us. As children you’ve loved and spoiled us, “I was fortunate to have been a child in your life your patience, kindness, hugs and kisses I will always remember. No matter how far I was, I could always count on that birthday card in the mailbox. Thank you. As adults you’ve been there to listen to our thoughts and provide a few thoughts of your own. The important thing is that you were there for all of us, “Immediate family as well as our distant family. You were like the glue that kept all of us connected together. Thank you Aunt Cece. Thank you for all of the wonderful moments and memories that you’ve given us. Your light will continue to shine on thru all of us that you’ve touched. To Cece, Tommy, Larry, and family’s. My heart hurts for the pain that you are experiencing. The thought of losing the ones we care the most about is one of the hardest facts of life to face. I love you guys and will keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers.
Love Always,
Kimberly “Smith Candelaria
(Steve and Kathy’s daughter)

You have been a wonderful Mother (In Law). I appreciated all that you (and Dad) did for our family. We thank you for all the picnics, dinners, babysitting
and games you played with us over the years. It was my pleasure to take you to most of your Class Reunions and see you have the pleasure of seeing old friends. Thank you mom.

I remember the wonderful times that we have had together. I especially remember our last trip with Buddy and Johnny to Opryland. We heard this new performer, and Buddy thought that this new guy was going to be famous. Against your advice, buddy bought all of his tapes. On the way home buddy started to listen to his tapes. After the first minute of listening, he took the tape out of the cassette player and thru them all out of the window. He quickly realized that this guy was going know were. Boy did we have a laugh. After our kids were grown, we sure did a lot. We ate at such wonderful restaurants and traveled everywhere. Lots of Memory’s we have. Our visits to the timeshare in Punta Gorda every year, as well as any other interesting things that we managed to get ourselves into. The famous family reunions were always a hit. Cece, although we have been sister in- laws. We always felt more like sisters. I will miss you.
Cece, Larry and Tommy,
Although I am unable to make it up to the funeral, I am always just a phone call away should you need someone to talk with. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
With Love, Aunt Evelyn

I will remember her laugh, the way she answered the phone with her distinctive "hello", and the story her children told me about her falling off the adult tricycle they bought her one Christmas. MANY happy memories of family reunions at her home. Hope she wins ALL the poker games in Heaven.
