Obituary of Mahendra Kumar Shah

On the evening of Friday, September 18, 2015, Mahendra peacefully passed away at 7:16 P.M. surrounded by his beloved family. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rekha Shah, his two daughters, Tanvi Shah Kothari, and Neha Shah Kapadia, his son-in-law, Nitesh Kapadia, and his two grandsons, Om Kothari, and Neev Kapadia. Mahendra Shah was born in the town of Rajkot, India on August 20, 1944. He was the first child of Balubhai and Chandaben Shah. On June 12, 1970, Mahendra married Rekha Shah and was blessed with two daughters, Tanvi and Neha. He started working for Gajra Gears Pvt. Ltd. in 1966 and retired as CEO of the company in 2001. He enjoyed 14 years of retirement with Rekha and his family. He was a caring husband and a loving father. Mahendra was a humble and generous man whose legacy will be remembered by his family, friends, co-workers, and many others. He lives in our hearts, forever.
