Sue, Joey, Barbara and family:
Joe held a special place in our hearts...his stories, his political commentary, his sense of humor, his desire to keep the extended family connected, and his ability to man the grill at the annual picnic are memories that are indelible. We are so thankful that he and Sue opened their hearts and their home to us in what became a long-standing and much-awaited tradition. With Sue's help, Joe became the anchor in the family as the older generation of the Ewerth's passed on and he will be instrumental in us maintaining our connection despite our distances. Rest in peace, Joe, it is well deserved. You will always be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers!
