I have fond memories of happy times with the Ruggerio family during my childhood. (My parents are Jack and Rose Davis.) I remember Sylvia as a happy and fun loving person. She always made me feel welcome in her home and I enjoyed being around her. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you, Mr. Ruggerio and to you Russ, Roselynn and Lisa. I too have lost my Mother and I understand the depth of your loss. I am thinking of you all during this difficult time.

Mrs. Ruggerio,
I will miss you so so so much :(. The short time that I had with you has filled me with memories to last a lifetime. The promise you asked of me I will continue to do for the rest of my life. I will forever be there for your baby Lisa (my bestfriend), her family and your husband. I also promise that Ed and I will watch baseball with your grandson's and your hubsand just like you asked, I'm sure there will be plenty of Phillies gatherings @ Lisa and Larry's. Every year when Easter rolls around I will make sure to dye my own dozen eggs for you in your honor :). Even though you are not physically here I know you will still be around us all watching over. You are a true angel and honestly I feel like a part of your family because you are all so loving and always have opened arms. I love you always.

p.s. Mrs. Ruggerio, even though I did not have the chance to meet you my wife sure had a wonderful impression of you so I know you are a wonderful lady. I will watch plenty of baseball games with your husband and grandson's just has you asked of my wife and I. You have one amazing family.

Sylvia and Russell were always our (myself, Carly, and Leo) unoffical third set of grandparents. For as long as I can remember, they were a part of our lives. When we were kids we would go to their house in Pennsauken for dinners and while our parents chatted we searched for the cat (who was always hiding) and sneaked candy from the jars. Sylvia always lavished us with lovely gifts for every birthday and Christmas and so many beautiful clothes! She was ALWAYS so pleasant and happy and I can remember her always laughing and smiling. She loved good food and good company, and always brought us dounts and a butter cake when she visited. She was so thoughtful and always remembered what everyone liked. She loved coming down in the summer to eat my father's home cooked crabs. She would talk so proudly about her grandsons and you could see how much joy they brought into her life. She will be sadly missed by our entire family. She was blessed to have lived such a full and wonderful life. I will always remember her fondly in my heart.
