Obituary of Alfred S. Wayslow

On June 2, 2010 of Atco, NJ, formerly of Wilkes Barre, PA, age 69yrs., passed away after a courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Romanowski). Devoted father of Dr. Alfred (Christine) of Cherry Hill and Andrew of Atco, NJ. Also survived by 2 grandsons, Austin and Joseph, dear brother of Thomas of Wilkes Barre, PA and Mary Ann Krupa (David) of FL. After 3 years in the Navy on the USS Enterprise, Alfred went on to receive his degree at Wilkes University and teach elementary school. After teaching, he went into the sales field primarily with DelMonte Foods. In 1976, he operated a 7-11 store in Haddonfield, NJ and in 1981, opened his own store in Atco, NJ call The Pantry in the Pines. Alfred continued to have a deep love of music from his early days playing the accordion in a band and even released a single with his band The Monarchs. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A Memorial Services will begin at 1:00pm. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Alfred to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
