Obituary of Patricia L. McCallin

Patricia Lilian McCallin, 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Born in Woodbury, NJ, she lived in Blue Anchor and graduated from Edgewood High School. She worked as a Human Services Technician at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital for 30 years before retiring in 2006. She was an avid Slotomania Player, who hated croutons on her salad. She loved the holidays, especially Christmas and what she enjoyed most was watching her granddaughter, Abigail, dance and play soccer. Survivors include her husband, Joseph J. McCallin, Jr. Her son, Joseph A. Canale, Jr. (Carol) and her daughter Marjorie A. Ortiz (Misael). She is also survived by her mother, Marjorie E. Kilburn, and brothers Raymond (JoeAnn) Sherman and Paul (Debbie) Kilburn. Her granddaughter, Abigail Ortiz and grandchildren Amanda Caruso, Jessica Caruso , Anthony Caruso, Jr. (Kaila), Brandon Caruso and Rahlan Landry. She was preceded in death by her father, Josiah Sherman and her grandson Tyler J. Canale. She also leaves behind several extended family and friends. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 for 10 am to 12 pm at Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004., where a funeral service will be held at 12 pm.
