Dear Tom, Max, Becca and Mr, And Mrs. Aussman,
God opened up his gates and let a beautiful angel in. There are no words to express how we feel about the loss of your wife, mother and daughter. So sorry to hear of Heather's passing. I don't know if I ever met Heather. I am a relative of her husband Tom. His mother Janet is my cousin, and I used to babysit Tom and his sister Lisa when they were young back in Warren, Michigan. My heart goes out to all of Heather's family and friends at this sad, heart-breaking time. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. During this time, may sweet memories fill your heart. If your soul needs to shed some tears, then let them flow. And if a laugh creeps in, give yourself that gift. May time be your friend and give you comfort. God bless.

I am so, so sorry for the loss of Heather. I *met* her via a FB group for Sarcoma a little over 2 years ago and can never put into words how special she will always be to me. Having hemangioblahblah is what brought us together and I couldn't have asked for a better mentor to help me navigate through this journey. I can only hope I brought Heather a fraction of the laughter, strength, hope, love and encouragement that she gave me. I'll never forget talking her into looming with me that winter over Facebook messaging, our plans to visit each others coasts since we live on opposite sides, the laughter, fears, ideas we shared. I'll be adding her name to a petal on my sunflower tattoo so that everywhere I go I'll remember to show the grace and compassion she showed me, I'll remember to laugh, ask questions, demand to be heard and I'll keep on fighting against my hemangioblahblah. You'll be missed Heather but will forever be a part of my story that I will share, you'll never be forgotten. Peace.

My sincere sympathy to Heather's family. I was fortunate to meet Heather when I worked for Gateway and she would visit the main office. She always had a beautiful smile and was a pleasure to chat with about Max & Becca or her latest health adventure. She had such a positive attitude and was a wonderful, caring mom! I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Heather since elementary school. We played softball together for 13 years. 4 years ago when I went through my cancer Heather was there for me answering questions and giving me hope and guidance on how to make it through.
