Obituary of Leon Rossi

Leon Rossi, age 94, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 19th. Born in Elm, New Jersey, he lived in West Berlin most of his life. He worked as a Plant Manager for Campbell Soup Company in Camden for 46 years before retiring in 1986. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, gardener, and handyman. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Raphaela (nee DePalma); children Barbara (John) Wooton and Joan (Joe) Huntowski; sister Mary DeSpirito and brother Fred Rossi; grandchildren Jeff (Marianne), Scott, Michael, Deanna, and Eric; great grandchildren John and Jaclyn and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Henry DeClement. A Viewing will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015, from 9am to 10am, at St. Simon Stock Parish Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ, 08009. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.
