God bless the memory of Mr. Williams and compassionate sympathy to the grieving friends and family. My own father, John S. Zubrzycki might well have known Mr. Williams since they were both on the Death March and Hell Ship and my father's POW number was 433 -- next in numerical order. Under the inhumane conditions, they may not have known each other since dad was an enlisted man, but all the Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor are great heroes in my eyes although our nation has taken little notice. God bless him and all those comrades-in-arms.
