Obituary
Obituary of Warren Brill
Warren "Pete" L. Brill, 89
Passed peacefully at The Fountains at Cedar Parke, Atco, NJ on January 6, 2016. Born in Camden, NJ : residing in Camden, Pennsauken, NJ, Pittsford, NY, Cape May and Atco, NJ. Lovingly married 59 years to the late Alverda Brill (nee Wark). Predeceased by brothers Edwin W. Brill and Warren Myers. Survived by his children Gary W. and Gayle Brill of Sweetwater, NJ and Maria and Don Piampiano of Livonia, NY, sister Ruth Walker, cousin Meryl Dugent and husband Paul, granddaughters Emily Ida Brill, Michelle O'Brien, and great granddaughter Emily Mae O'Brien. Also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, considering each of them his own. Warren also leaves behind many dear friends who meant the world to him.
Warren had an inherent eye for detail resulting in employment at General Electric Aerospace and later Xerox Corporation as a Quality Systems analyst. Xerox enabled he and Alverda to travel the world. He was an avid hunter, environmental steward, tinkerer, gardener and volunteer. He loved swimming in the ocean, especially with his granddaughters. He did everything at his own pace. A devoted family man and faithful active Christian, a veteran of WWII (Japan) and a warm big hearted guy; he lit up the lives of those who knew him. He led by example and seldom raised his voice. He preferred to put others first and his compassion and empathy for others was manifested in everything he did. Always smiling and rarely complaining, his patience defied logic. The family would like to express heartfelt love and gratitude to our "family" at the Fountains, especially our brothers and sisters at Skilled Nursing. Similarly we thank our "family" from Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice who perform miracles everyday. Finally, Dad's and our lives were certainly blessed with the love and caring presence of Dad's caregivers throughout the years; Melissa, Lisa, Kathleen, Sally, Judy, Kim, Macar, Shirley, Damaris, and Ronnie.
