Obituary of Rudolph A Valentino

Rudolph A. "Rudy" Valentino Sr. 90 years old of Winslow Township passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Born and raised in Cedar brook NJ, predeceased by his parents Guiseppe and Assunta Valentino. Survived by his wife of 70 years Lillian. Sons Rudolph and wife Mary, Randolph and fiancée Barbara; Edward "Rusty" and fiancée Ronny-Lynn. Loving grandfather of Thomas and Colleen, Dave and Kristie, John and Jessica, Russell and Laurie, Randolph and Sabrina, Anthony, Justin and Jennifer, Ryan, Kylie. Great Grandfather of Connor, Emily, Dave, Lillian, Jorgia, Jack, Joel, Katie, Rusty; awaiting the arrival of three additional great grandchildren. World War II Veteran and proudly served in the US Army 111th Army Evacuation Hospital Unit. A retired police officer for the Winslow Township Police Department and known to many as "Officer Phil", 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and a member of the Sgt Ron Wright VFW Post 303. His commitment to his friends and family was immeasurable. His will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Friends and family are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday February 3, 2016 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Christ the Redeemer Parish / Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive Atco NJ, Where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am.
