Obituary of John L. Povernick

John L. Povernick, Jr. age 68yrs passed away on March 29, 2016 after a lengthy battle with thyroid cancer. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (nee Vogdes), sons, John L. Povernick, III and his wife Kimberly of Washington Twp., NJ, Michael E. Povernick of Cedar Brook and a step daughter, Brenda J. Koenig of Portland, OR. Also surviving is his granddaughter, Sage Povernick. John is pre deceased by his son, Anthony R. Povernick. John was fortunate to retire from Mitel Telecom in 2000 and enjoyed many years with his family. The family would like to thank Dr. Roger Cohn "The Captain" and his staff from Penn Medicine for their many years of care. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family starting on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 8:30am to 10:15am followed by a Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10:15am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Amigos De Jesus Orphanage, 126 Woodland Ave., Malvern, PA 19355.
