Joe and I served together in Vietnam. When we got home we were making up for lost time back in the world. We would often trek to the afterhours clubs down the shore. On one of these jaunts we stopped off at a bowling alley that had a little club. I saw Joe talking to this young lady at the juke box. BAM! He got hit by the THUNDERBOLT and her name was Diana. That was it for him. Diana captured his heart. You could tell on the rest of the ride he just wanted to be home the next day to call her.
Brother, it was an honor to serve with you but I was blessed to be your friend. I am sure God has you working on the flight line up there but instead of sending off F100’s you are sending off Angels on their missions. RIP dear friend.

May I express my heart felt condolences to the Leadley family. I worked for Joe at L-3 and had so much respect for him. He was a good leader, a fair manager and an all around great guy.
I know he will be missed by all who knew him.
My prayers are offered in his remembrance.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Joe and I worked together for many years at ComCon and RCA. He was the definition of a true "professional". It was a privilege to have known him.

Diana, please accept our deepest sympathies. Joe was a real gentleman. I have good memories of him from our first grade class in the basement of the old Assumption church to our graduation at St. Joe's Hammonton. May his soul rest in peace.

Joe was a well respected fellow engineer during the seventy's and eighty's When we both worked at RCA in Camden New Jersey. Even more important he was honorable and good friend you could count on in times of trouble. In my terms he was a "good scout"

Just last week my daughter Dorothy and I were reminiscing about going night skiing with Joe and heather when the kids were young. Heather always liked chocolate chip cookies for the ride home.
Joe was my friend and professional colleague for 40 years. Those Comcon days will always be special.
Diane and girls - please accept our deepest sympathy.
Warm regards
Tim and MaryAnn Tobin
