I had the pleasure of knowing Joe through middle school and high school. We graduated together and were involved in many of the same school activities. In addition, I had the pleasure of working with Joe for a number of years at UMDNJ EMS in Camden. Long nights on an ambulance working with Joe seemed to go by quickly with non stop jokes and laughter. When Joe and his brother Anthony were together at work and would start in with the jokes and making fun of each other, we would laugh until the tears streamed down our faces. Joe was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and the ability to make you laugh more quickly than most people are able. He will be deeply missed.

Our love and prayers go out to Jacqueline and little Emma, both the loves of his life. To the other family members, especially Joe's parents, we are so very sorry. Too young, too soon. We last saw him at Christmas at our family party and was so happy to have him there. He was an amazing father and just an all around "good guy". I was completely caught off guard learning of Joe's death. What a great guy he was. I met Joe probably 10 years ago. He worked for Atlas Flasher and they flagged the roads for Verizon in Maryland. Joe, Steve, Cathy, Lou, Mike, Jay and whole host of others kept us safe and laughing. Rest easy.
