To all the Astore Children and their families:
A Mother's love is something
that no on can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendoured miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God's tender guiding hand.
That's a Mother's Love. Happy Mother's Day Edith!
God Bless you and keep you. She was a wonderful women and I loved to be in her presences. She made me laugh and I was in awe of her kindness. and gentleness.
Our Sympathy to you all.

As my sister Laraine said.....mom lived by the "Golden Rule"
My mom was True Gold!
I also live my life as mom would've liked me to because I know it would be a "rich" life, as hers was. And in this life you have to "show" your love, because when you do good things happen.
I'm glad I gave you your Mother's Day card before the day!
Love you ma!

A life time of great memories that I learned and lived. A mom who lived by the "Golden Rule". Exemplified teaching of a good life to those who accepted from her. Very fortunate to have loved and cared for you mom, an experience that not all have had an opportunity to do and would never have had it any other way. I watched your condition deteriorate and respected your wishes as I cried inwardly. I cried when you passed then I said "why am I crying? This was quick and somewhat painless for you. I should be joyous you are now with the heavenly angels! I will miss every aspect of you. I thank you for giving me a beautiful life even though I made some mistakes. Until we meet again with the angels by our side. Walk with me until then !!! Love forever Laraine

Seth and I will miss the sweet person that Edith was, always had a smile on her face.
Edith had a special love for people. When I went to visit with her she would call me Diane , then she would say that you are Ann not Diane.
