Obituary of William B Murrow

William B. Murrow, 89, of Somerdale, passed away on July 31, 2016. Loving husband of 67 years to Esther (nee Weckesser); Devoted father of Lynda (James) Mohan, John (Hope) Murrow, Gregory (Mary Ann) Murrow; Loving grandfather of Beth, John, James, Mary Ann, Christopher, Allen, Steven and great grandfather of Nicolas, Lucinda, Fiona and Quinn. Mr. Murrow was a US Army veteran serving during World War II in German Occupation Forces. He was an active member of the Somerdale Fire Department and a past member of the Camden County Fire Police. William served on the Somerdale Borough Council President and the Somerdale Planning Board. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 6PM to 7PM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike in Atco, where a memorial service will be held at 7PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Somerdale Fire Department, 101 Park Ave., Somerdale, NJ 08083.
