John Brennan

Obituary of John J. Brennan

John Brennan, better known as "JB", made his last politically incorrect, funny comment on July 24, 2016. JB was one to always make you laugh with his misuse of words as he referred to Facebook as facelift. He is survived by his wife of almost 43 years, Deborah Brennan, two daughters, Desiree (Sean) Kelly and Courtney (Sam) Caruso, and grandchildren, Dalton Patrick Kelly, Lennon Alexander Caruso and Remy Louis Caruso. John retired as a union electrician after 32 years and then picked up a side job to prevent boredom with Winslow Schools for 4 years. He then resorted to keeping the house in order, bill paying duties, and of course making sure his wife had coffee every morning as she was getting ready for work. John was a Vietnam vet and a US Marine. John raved about his trip to Busch Gardens for Desiree's 40th Birthday. Especially having one of the scariest roller coaster rides ever. Another favorite of John's was watching Top Gun with Courtney and reciting lines over and over again. John enjoyed playing golf and vacationing with his wife in the Caribbean. More recently, they enjoyed hanging out at their vacation home in Myrtle Beach. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and teaching them street smarts and all they needed to know about the 49er's. He will be truly missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 9AM to 12PM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike in Atco, where a funeral service will be held at 12PM. Interment will be private.
