Obituary of Anthony T. Planamento

Anthony T. Planamento, 80, passed away on September 16, 2016. Anthony proudly served out country in the United States Air Force. While stationed in Germany, he met and married his devoted wife of 59 years, Regina. After military service, Anthony worked for Pan American Airways. He was also a volunteer firefighter with the local fire company. Anthony is survived by his wife Regina, sons, Wayne (Iris) and James (Laurie), his grandchildren, Jessica, Craig, Adam, Lawrence "Tony", and Alexandra "Allie". Anthony is also survived by his brother Gabe (Ann) Planamento and sisters, Julia (Glenn) Smyers, Ann Holt, Carm Taulbee, Mary Ann Young and many dear nephews and nieces. His sisters Lucy Forlano, Flora Adamek and Rose Butler predeceased him. He is also survived by his dear friends, George and Phyllis Madden. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing and funeral on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 5PM to 7PM and Saturday, September 24, 2016 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike in Atco, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Camden County Animal Shelter, 125 County Hose Rd, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
