Obituary of Marilyn Mills

Marilyn Mills, Age 84 passed away on November 15th. Born in 1932 to the late William and Louise Walker in Altoona, PA. She was the first African-American teacher in Altoona Pennsylvania and retired from the Philadelphia School System. Marilyn was a member of the Zeta Chapter of Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. She is predeceased by her husband William Mills; sisters, Vivian Glenn and Jacqueline Walls. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Mills and wife Yolanda and 3 grandchildren. Family & friends are invited to attend Marilyn's visitation on Friday, November 25th from 9:30 am-10:30am at Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.
