Obituary of Michael James McCormick

Michael James McCormick passed away on Sunday, January 15th with his loving family by his side. Born in 1949 at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. He graduated from Vineland High School and went on to join the United States Army. Michael retired Sergeant with the Human Resources Police at Ancora Hospital where he worked for 43 years. He was a wonderful grandfather and great advice giver to his children and loved playing poker and watching poker tournaments. He is predeceased by his father, John McCormick; brothers, Robert McCormick and Thomas McCormick; sister-in-law, Donna McCormick. He is survived by his loving wife, Judie McCormick (nee Bowers); mother, Josephine McCormick (nee DeBellis); daughters, Diana Samborski, Joyce Bombara-Benavidez and husband Hector, Christine Fischlein and husband Scott; brothers, John McCormick, Jr. and Patrick McCormick and wife Kathy; sisters, Rebecca McCormick, Mary Ann Mucciolo and husband Lou; sister-in-laws, Michele McCormick and Cathy McCormick; grandchildren, Miranda, Jeffrey, Kyle, Alyssa, Breanna, Salvatore, Matthew, Paul and Kaylee and a host of brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to Michael's visitation on Friday, January 20th from 10:00am-12:00pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.
