Obituary of John K. Tretina

Age 68 yrs., passed away on April 21, 2009 with his family by his side. John was born and raised in Phila., PA. He spent his last 41 years living in the home he and his wife had built in Medford, NJ. John was a mechanic for over 50 years, having last worked at U.S. Pipe & Steel in Burlington, NJ. He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Myrna (nee Chancey), by only 23 days. John is survived by his loving daughter Myrna Tretina DeFrancisco (Mark) of Marlton, NJ, son John (Liz) of Henderson, NV, son Scott of W. of Berlin, NJ, his mother Frances Simon of Marlton, NJ, his sister Fran Bermender of Marlton, NJ and his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Lorraine Tretina of South Carolina. He is survived by eight grandchildren, Amanda, Scott, Elizabeth, Alex, Rachel, John, Sarah and Nicky who ruled his world. John also had numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends whom he adored. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, April 26th , from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ (856)767-0539. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00pm. Interment will private at the convenience of the family.
