Obituary of Robert F Maccarone

Robert F. Maccarone, 62yrs., passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, February 27th. He was born in 1955 to the late Anthony Maccarone and his surviving mother, Lucy Maccarone (nee Petti) in Staten Island, NY. He attended Staten Island Community College where he earned his Associates degree in 1975 and then went on to the College of Staten Island where he earned his Bachelors Degree in 1977. Robert spent most of his young life in Staten Island before migrating to South Jersey, where he enjoyed making wine and taking camping trips to Lancaster, PA. His passion was collecting antiques, specifically military antiques from the WWII and the Civil War era. He is survived by his devoted wife, Olga Maccarone (nee Gallimore); loving son, Andrew Maccarone; brother, Donald Maccarone and his wife Elysa; sisters, Lenore Fasino and husband Glen, and Susan DelBagno and husband Louis. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, March 3rd from 10am-11am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Interment will be at the Egg Harbor Cemetery, Moss Mill Road & Hamburg Avenue, Egg Harbor, NJ.
