Obituary of Mary J. Heggan

Mary J. Heggan (nee Schepis), 86 yrs., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, March 5th in Waterford, NJ. She was born in 1931 in Winslow Township to Nicholas and Carmella Schepis (nee Gentile). Mary was a seamstress by trade and worked in production for White Hall Laboratories in Hammonton for 25 years. She was family oriented, idolized her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a fabulous cook. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Wells (Tom) and Linda Zaleski (Michael); twin sister, Carmella Gazzara (Joe); grandchildren, Casey Schelper (Brian), Rick Wells (Theresa), and Katerina Zaleski; great granddaughters, Gemma Schelper, Juliana Schelper, Blakely Wells and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to Mary's visitation on Thursday, March 9th from 9am-11am at the Grace Union United Methodist Church, 131 E. Central Avenue, Blue Anchor, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Blue Anchor, NJ.
