Obituary of Kenneth L. Seidel

Kenneth L. Seidel, 84 yrs., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 17th in Atco, NJ. Ken was born in 1932 in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Anna Seidel (nee Bumgardner). He served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne where he was part of the Screaming Eagles. Ken earned himself a Bronze Star for his countless acts of bravery during the Korean War. He was a professional baseball catcher for the Jacksonville Braves and was a committed member of the St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Reading Pennsylvania where he belonged to the "Rowdy Seniors" Group. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia Seidel (nee Keenan). He is survived by his beloved son, Steve Seidel and wife Lucy; grandchildren, Michael Seidel and wife Dana and Carly Seidel. Cremation will be held private for the family.
