Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Hamilton

Elizabeth "Betty" Hamilton, 86, of Gibbsboro, NJ passed away on Sunday, May 21st surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born in 1931 to the late Charles and Cecilia McKenty (nee Burke). She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo and reading. Betty was fond of country western music and adored her family and grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sisters, Anna Marie McKenty, Cecilia Schwarz, Teresa Gardopee and Pat Smagalla. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, James "Sonny" Hamilton; loving sons, James Hamilton, Jr., Charles Hamilton (Linda); loving daughters, Patricia Yip (Mike) and Liz Hamilton; sister, Margaret Dolce (Raymond); brother-in-laws, William Gardopee and John Smagalla; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family & friends are invited to Betty's viewing on Wednesday, May 24th from 9am-11am at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish at 27 Kresson Rd, Gibbsboro, NJ and funeral mass will follow.
