Obituary of Viola May Lipscomb

Viola M. Lipscomb (nee McCue), 94 yrs., passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 9th. For the past three years, she was a resident of Woodview Estates in Mays Landing. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Daniel & Florence McCue and was one of twelve children. Viola was very involved in politics and was a member of the Democratic Club and served on the Town Council for Camden County. Viola especially enjoyed her family and spending time with her great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Lipscomb, two sisters and seven brothers. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Joanne Elentrio (Robert); brother, Robert McCue (Sis); sister, Eleanor Anderson (late Joseph); grandchildren, Robert Elentrio (Karen), Lynn Regalbuto (Jimmy) and Christina Moore (Justin) and six great grandchildren, Nicky, Anthony, Michael, Julia, Gianna, Alaina and many nieces and nephews. A gathering will be held for Viola at 10:30am and a funeral mass will follow at 11am at St. Katharine Drexel Chapel at 6075 W. Jersey Ave., Egg Harbor, NJ. Inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
