Obituary of Sara Jane Christy

Sara Jane Christy, age 77 of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away on Thursday August 17, 2017. Wife of the late Louis Christy. Beloved mother of Peter Christy (Gina) and Kim Christy (Fred Tarsatana). Loving grandmother of Robert, Madison, Alexandra, Ryan, and Courtney. Dear sister of Doris Palladino, Lois Ewell, Bill Pratt and the late John "Jack" Grisso. Mrs. Christy was born in Camden, NJ and was a longtime resident of Cedar Brook, before moving to Sicklerville 15 years ago. She worked for Winslow Township as a custodian for 20 years, retiring in 2000. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are appreciated.
