Obituary of Viola Louise Erbe

Viola Louise Erbe (nee Coats), age 89 of Berlin, NJ, passed away on Friday August 18, 2017 at Hammonton Center, Hammonton, NJ. Wife of the late Alvin Erbe. Beloved mother of William R. (Beth) Anthony, Katherine (William) Free, Terri Lynn Steffens, and the late Susan Marie Allison. Proud grandmother of 14, great-grandmother of 21, and great-great grandmother of 3. Viola was born in Spavinaw, Oklahoma on the Cherokee Reservation. She resided in many parts of the country throughout her life, spending the last 6 years in Berlin. Mrs. Erbe was a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Viewing will be held on Wednesday August 23, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 8:30 pm at the funeral home.
